McLaren MP4-31 passes FIA crash tests

McLaren has announced its 2016 F1 car, the MP4-31, has passed the FIA’s mandatory crash tests.

The team is the latest to have its car homologated by the FIA, with Toro Rosso, Force India, Mercedes and Sauber recently revealing the news.

"Three or four years" before Renault scores podiums

The Renault F1 team says the 2016 F1 season will be a "year of transition" and is not expecting to score podiums for "three or four years".

There would be great interest in Scandinavian F1 race – Ericsson

Marcus Ericsson believes there would be a lot of interest for a Formula 1 round in Scandinavia, although he does not see it happening for "a long time".
